The Minister of Youth in the Government of National Unity, Fathallah El-Zenni, has discussed establishing an academic program to raise the capabilities of young people in the field of peacebuilding and conflict resolution in Libya.
This came during his meeting on Sunday in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, with the President of the United Nations University for Peace in Belgrade, to review the procedures for Libya to join the University for Peace.
Al-Zenni discussed providing the opportunity for Libyan youth to study modern peace techniques by developing dialogue and conflict management skills, enhancing means of communication and mediation between conflicting parties, and providing development solutions that contribute to reducing conflicts at the local and regional levels.
