Minister of State for Displaced Persons and Refugees Affairs, Yousif Jalala, reviewed Tuesday with the representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Libya, Niels Scott, the efforts to meet the needs of the displaced persons in shelters and develop measures to address their problems.
The UNFPA official explained during the meeting the support mechanism and the humanitarian response of UNFPA in the affected and host cities for the displaced persons, stressing the importance of responding urgently to the needs of the displaced people of Ghat in southwestern Libya.
