The National Oil Corporation (NOC) discussed lifting the force majeure on all sites granted to the Russian company Tatneft during a technical meeting between the two sides on Monday.
The NOC confirmed that Tatneft resumed its exploration activities in the Ghadames Basin area after the National Drilling Company conducted the testing process for well D1-8214.
The meeting with Tatneft's officials was part of the annual joint technical meetings between the Corporation and its participating foreign companies, the NOC stated on Facebook.
Monday's meeting dealt with the company's exploration activities this year and the proposed technical work for the year 2023.
