Sirte Security Force declared Friday a state of high alert in the city and the surrounding areas in anticipation of any emergency, after the killing of a citizen in the road of Zallah by ISIS and the checkpoints set up by ISIS militants along Sirte-Zallah road.
The force explained via its Facebook page that the step comes after the airstrike carried out by AFRICOM south of Bani Walid town, which led to the killing of four people, including an ISIS fugitive, as well as the abduction and murder of a citizen from Sirte by suspected members of ISIS.
