The Tunisian ambassador to Libya, Al-Asaad Al-Ajili, has stated that there are no confirmations regarding the registration of Tunisian victims in Derna.
Al-Ajili said that the embassy received calls from some citizens to check on their families and relatives residing in Derna after they lost contact with them, indicating that the embassy had set up a dedicated phone number to receive calls and emergency cases.
The ambassador reported, in a telephone intervention on the official Tunisian channel, that a crisis cell had been formed at the embassy and consulate, and a team representing the Tunisian embassy had also been sent to Benghazi.
