The negotiation team of the Emsaad-Ras Ijdir Road Implementation and Management Authority has announced the end of negotiations with the Italian company to implement the road route.
The authority revealed that they had received a new additional reduction of 30 million euros. The total reduction in the total value of project implementation is 357 million euros.
It also confirmed that with this new agreement, the negotiation phase has been completed, so that the work phase begins to refer the issue to the Libyan and Italian states to complete the procedures and contract for implementation as quickly as possible.
These results will be presented to the first contractor, Emsaad Al-Marj, to reach a final agreement to adjust prices and amend the contract signed since 2013.
