The Ministry of Health, in cooperation with blood laboratories and banks as well as the General Syndicate for Medical Professions, held Thursday morning a scientific forum in Tripoli to celebrate World Blood Donor Day, to be observed on June 14, featuring the slogan “Blood unites us and connects us to one another.”
The forum aims at making people aware of the importance of donating blood and providing sufficient and guaranteed supplies for those who need to donate it. It also focused on making people familiar with the right ways to transfer blood according to the known medical and scientific measures.
The forum also extended thanks to the blood donors, who save people’s lives on a daily basis by donating blood.
