The National Shipping Company announced that the tanker Anwar Al-Nasr has successfully passed the SIRE 2.0 inspection for the first time, marking the second time one of the company’s vessels has undergone this evaluation.

This new inspection, adopted in September 2024, aims to assess the performance of ships and their crews, as well as their compliance with international standards.

The SIRE 2.0 inspection focuses on improving data collection and analysis processes, allowing for a more accurate and objective assessment of vessel and crew performance.

The inspection, which involves a set of strict criteria designed to ensure ship safety and operational efficiency, was conducted by ALMA Petroli, one of the companies within a major oil consortium.

In a statement, the National Shipping Company stated that this achievement reflects its commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in its operations. It also reinforces the company’s position in the maritime transport sector and is expected to enhance customer and partner confidence in its services.
