The Qatari Prime Minister/ Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, welcomed Libya’s Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, in Doha on Tuesday as part of an official visit to Qatar.
Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in investment and strategic projects. The leaders reviewed progress on joint initiatives and explored ways to advance their implementation in line with agreed plans.
Aviation links between the two nations were also on the agenda, with both sides looking at ways to enhance civil aviation and improve air connectivity.
Additionally, the talks covered media cooperation and training, aiming to build national expertise in the sector. The leaders exchanged views on key regional and international issues, stressing the importance of ongoing coordination to support stability and development in the region.
Dbeibah was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Transport Minister Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid Al-Lafi, Libyan Investment Authority Chairman Ali Mahmoud, Presidential Initiatives and Strategic Projects Head Mustafa Al-Manea, and National Security Adviser Ibrahim Dbeibah.
