Saturday morning was the start point of violent clashes in many fight axes in Benghazi between Dignity Operation and Benghazi Shura Council fighters, in which heavy and medium weapons were excessively used as part of a “decisive operation”, as supporting media outlets for Khalifa Hafter and his Dignity Operation described it.

Sources reported that Hafter’s forces launched a large-scale attack on Benghazi Shura Council revolutionaries in different axes, pointing that fighting some of the axes have stopped due to a pullout by some of the attackers, while fight is still on in other axes, knowing that Benghazi hospitals received earlier Saturday about 12 dead bodies from Hafter’s forces.

Renegade General Khalifa Hafter had already announced that the decisive battle to liberate Benghazi from terrorism several times since the start of his Dignity Operation back in May 2014, yet without any real achievement until today, knowing that half of the city’s population has been displaced.
