The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) has announced the successful integration of a newly drilled well in the Nafoura oil field, adding approximately 2,000 barrels per day to the field's production capacity.
The well was immediately brought online, contributing to the company’s output growth.
In a Facebook statement, AGOCO confirmed ongoing work to connect an additional 16 wells across its portfolio of fields.
The projects include both mechanical and electrical integrations, aiming to significantly enhance production capacity while ensuring operational efficiency.
AGOCO said this development is part of broader efforts, in collaboration with Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC), to bolster oil production and support the country’s economic recovery.
The company underscored its commitment to sustaining and increasing output levels amid challenging market conditions.
