The Minister of Interior of the Government of National Unity, Imad Al-Trabelsi, has discussed with his Italian counterpart, Matteo Piantedosi, security cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of combating illegal immigration.
According to the Interior Ministry media office, this came during their meeting in the Italian city of Palermo, which Al-Trabelsi arrived on Thursday.
During the visit, Al-Trabelsi participated in the activities of the international conference to commemorate the entry into force of a UN convention against crime in the presence of representatives of more than 168 countries.
