The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, has attended a regional consultative forum on the development of the Sahel in Niamey, organized by the High-Level Independent Panel on Security and Development in the Sahel.
"I highlighted the interconnection between the crisis in Libya and the region and emphasized the need for strong regional coordination at all levels”, Bathily tweeted.
