The UN envoy Abdoulaye Bathily has renewed his call for Libyan leaders to prioritize the needs of their people above all else, come together, engage in a constructive dialogue, and make the promise of elections a reality.
Bathily said in a congratulatory message to the Libyan people on the occasion of the new year, "May 2024 be the year the voices of the Libyan people are heard, demands honored, and aspirations fulfilled”.
