The Canadian Red Cross sent volunteers from the Emergency Response Unit to Libya to help those affected by the devastating floods that swept the east of the country last September.
The medical supplies sent by the Red Cross included first aid, medicines and medical devices, which would help provide vital health services to those affected.
The Canadian Red Cross said that these supplies would help stabilize patients suffering from severe conditions and treat infectious and chronic diseases.
