Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah discussed on Monday with the head of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Farhat Bengadara, plans to increase oil and gas production.
The meeting also reviewed operational procedures for developing the oil industry according to the specified budget.
Dbeibah stressed the need for collaboration between state institutions to increase the country's oil production and to achieve the principle of disclosing the operational and supply expenses of the sector.
He said achieving transparency in government spending is a priority and that all citizens across the country should benefit from oil revenues.
