Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah discussed on Sunday with the Murzuq Municipality Follow-up Reconstruction Committee the rehabilitation of the city to ensure the swift return of its people.
At the meeting, Dbiebah stressed the importance of the General Electricity Company completing their targeted maintenance work in the city and supporting the management council to implement the urgent listed projects.
He emphasized the importance of cooperation with the USAID and UNDP organizations in implementing joint programs and ensuring that people return to their homes in a specific time frame.
For his part, the Minister of Local Government/ Chairman of the Murzuq Municipality Reconstruction Committee, Badr al-Din al-Toumi, presented a briefing on the inventory work and the timetable for implementing specific projects in coordination with the Administrative Council of the Murzuq Municipality.
