Italian Foreign Minister, Luigi Di Maio, has stated that Italy intends to increase its gas imports from Libya and Algeria, as an alternative to Russian gas.
This came after the Italian decision to reduce the amount of its imports of Russian gas by nearly 50% within two months, Di Maio added, pointing out that his country has many partners in the world.
