The Egyptian medical team specializing in cardiac and vascular surgery has initiated the first series of open-heart surgeries for adults at the Misrata Medical Centre.
As reported by the 'Hakomitna' platform, these surgeries are undertaken in conjunction with a national support program at the centre, under the auspices of the Healthcare Services Support and Development Agency, as part of the domestic treatment localization program.
Over the next two weeks, the Egyptian team will continue to perform open-heart surgeries, with the participation of several Libyan doctors.
The initiative aims to facilitate training and skill enhancement among local medical professionals, thereby advancing the goal of treatment localization.
