A sweet and dessert shop in Janzour was shut down as it was linked with several food poisoning cases, said the Food and Drug Control Center.
The center said in a statement yesterday that a local clinic in the area had reported several cases of food poisoning all of whom had purchased food from this shop.
The center also indicated that it had taken statements of the sick people who confirmed they had consumed the "Malfi" dessert which they bought from the "Libyan Sweets Shop".
