The Ghadames Municipal Council has announced the commencement of a water project to improve the city's supply.
The project involves constructing a 51-kilometre pipeline and a reservoir with a capacity of 12,000 cubic meters to supply the city with water.
The Municipal Council issued a statement on Facebook confirming that a handover protocol was signed to initiate construction.
It highlighted that the project is part of the Government of National Unity's "Return to Life" plan.
