The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer, met on Monday with a delegation from the House of Representatives (HoR), headed by the First Deputy Speaker, Fawzi Al-Nuwairi.
During the meeting, which included MPs Salem Qanaan and Aisha Shalaby, Al-Nuwairi affirmed support for the CBL unification efforts, according to the CBL Facebook page.
On Sunday, the CBL Governor, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer, and the Deputy Governor, Marie Raheel, announced in a meeting in Tripoli, the unification of the CBL as one state sovereign institution, vowing to continue making efforts to address the effects that resulted from the period of division.
