The Interior Ministry held talks with Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) to strengthen cooperation in improving healthcare services at migrant detention centres.
The meeting, chaired by Major General Abdelwahid Abdelssamad, Director of the Minister’s Office, included MSF’s Libya Head of Mission and the head of the Ministry’s Organisations Department.
Both sides stressed the need for coordination with the Ministry of Health to ensure unified efforts between national institutions and international organisations in addressing migrants’ medical and humanitarian needs.
