The L'Dzaro Spallanzani National Institute of Infectious Diseases in Rome has confirmed the stability of the condition of the Libyan national football team players with malaria, who recently arrived in Italy for treatment.

The National Institute added that there is no critical condition among the players, except for three cases that require careful clinical and diagnostic monitoring, according to the Italian “Nova” news agency.

Ten players from the Libyan national football team arrived in Italy on Wednesday to receive treatment for malaria, after contracting it in Nigeria during the African Mini-football Cup.
