Italian Minister of Economic Development Adolfo Urso has stated that his country wants to cut free from Russian gas during the current year.
In a press statement to Radio 24, the Italian minister pointed out that Italy has reduced Russian gas imports to 16% in 2022 from 40% last year in 2021, after its new contracts with Libya and Algeria.
Urso added that there are no warnings about gas reserves in Italy, confirming the availability of gas, and there is an agreement on the gas price.
