The head of the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), Ali Mahmoud Hassan, held a meeting in the capital, Tripoli, with the Ambassador of Algeria to Libya, Suleiman Shanin.
The meeting focused on discussing issues related to the freezing imposed on the assets of the LIA and possible ways to address these challenges, as Algeria is one of the member states of the sanctions committee concerned with Libya during this period.
According to the LIA media office, a set of measures taken by the LIA were presented with the aim of reducing the negative effects of the sanctions imposed on it.
