The Libyan Foreign Ministry announced its refusal to the law adopted by the so-called Israeli Knesset that considers occupied Palestine as a national home of Jewish people.

"Such a law is a unilateral action taken by the occupation authority of Israel to pounce on what was left of Palestinian territory and abort all endeavours and regional and international initiatives, which seek to find a lasting just and comprehensive solution in the Middle East that would satisfy the parties to the conflict," the ministry stressed in a statement on Monday.

The ministry called on the United Nations to reject this measure and any unilateral actions from the Israeli occupation authority that would undermine the international efforts to establish a just and lasting peace.
