A military delegation affiliated with the Government of National Unity (GNU) discussed the exchange of information on counterterrorism with Nigerian Defence Minister Mohammed Abubakar.
The two sides met at a high-level African meeting on combating terrorism in the Nigerian capital of Abuja.
A press release by the Counterterrorism Force said the talks aimed to bolster regional cooperation and institution-building to combat the evolving threat of terrorism in Africa.
Libya's mission at the conference included counterterrorism commander Major General Mohamed Al-Zein and the director of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs.
Their participation focused on Libya's experience in eliminating terrorist organizations within its territories.
