The General Syndicate of Libyan Doctors said in a statement on Thursday that it would begin an open strike, beginning next Sunday, 7 November.
This step came following consultations with the general medical, auxiliary and administrative unions, according to the statement.
It also indicated that the strike will continue until their demands are met to increase salaries of medical workers.
