The Maltese Foreign Minister Evarist Bartolo hoped Libya would regain stability so it could move on in all fields for the best interest of all Libyans.
The remarks came in a phone call with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Karen Donfried, in which they discussed many issues including Libya.
Maltese Foreign Ministry said in an earlier statement that Libya needs elections to be held as soon as possible in order to achieve acceptable results and a consensual government to all Libyans.
