The Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, has confirmed in his meeting with the Italian ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, that the PC will continue to work with all parties to reach consensus to spare the country any new conflict.
Menfi discussed with the Italian ambassador efforts to reach a comprehensive political settlement that boosts security, peace and stability in Libya, leading to holding transparent and fair elections whose results are acceptable to all parties.
The Italian ambassador hailed the role of the Presidential Council in building bridges among the Libyan political parties, stressing Italy's keenness to restore stability to Libya through the consensus of all parties.
