The National Oil Corporation (NOC) said that it will suspend the supplying of natural gas to the Libyan Norwegian Fertiliser Company LifeCo, until settling the outstanding debts.
The NOC explained that LifeCo is indebted with hundreds of millions of dollars for Sirte Oil and Gas Company and for the NOC, noting that negotiations with the foreign partner faltered as a result of its refusal to assume financial responsibilities towards LifeCo.
NOC said it was considering a range of options to find a solution to the problem so as to ensure that the company will continue and return to work as soon as possible.
