A delegation from the Pakistani Embassy in Libya visited an anti-immigration centre in Ain Zara, south of the capital, Tripoli, which includes illegal migrants from Pakistan.
Libya's Interior Ministry said the embassy's team toured the shelter and obtained first-hand knowledge of the situation of its nationals.
The delegation also registered the names of the Pakistani immigrants to complete the necessary procedures for their deportation.
The Interior Ministry said this comes within its plan to address the phenomenon of illegal immigration and deport immigrants to their countries voluntarily.
