The Presidential Council - in its capacity as the Supreme Commander of the Army - on Wednesday convened a meeting in the presence of Prime Minister/ Minister of Defence Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, Chief of the Libyan Army Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Haddad.
Among the topics on the table were the steps taken to eliminate organized crime and illegal immigration, as well as measures to strengthen border security.
They also reviewed the workflow in the military HQ and coordination mechanisms between the various military sectors and units.
Earlier, the PC held a separate meeting with senior military officials including, the Chief of Libya's army Al-Haddad and military leaders of Greater Tripoli, the Central District, and the Western Coast.
