The spokesman for the Central Committee for Municipal Council Elections (CCMCE), Basim Al-Modi, said that all official preparations for the electoral process for the municipality of Souq Al-Juma’a are prepared.
He confirmed that it will take place next Saturday, explaining in a press statement that the number of registered voters in the upcoming elections, who are expected to vote, has reached 48,943 distributed between 52 polling stations.
He was also indicated that the committee took into account the preventive measures for the Coronavirus pandemic in the relevant stations, adding that next Friday is to be a day of electoral silence.
