The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sannallah, met on Tuesday with the Ambassador of the European Union in Libya, Bettina Muscheidt, at the headquarters of the NOC in Tripoli, accompanied by a delegation from the European Union to discuss difficulties facing the oil sector in Libya.
The meeting also discussed the spread of the phenomenon of fuel smuggling and proposed solutions to curb this phenomenon.
The two sides also reviewed results of Paris meeting to promote dialogue and find a solution to the political stalemate in Libya.
In this context, Sanallah reaffirmed that the NOC should be separated from politics, refusing to use the institution to settle any political issues.
