The Head of the High Council of State, Mohammed Takala, discussed with the Qatari ambassador to Libya, Khalid Al-Dossari, the political developments in Libya and the region, in addition to ways to unify efforts to stop the brutal crimes committed by the Zionist occupation in Gaza, and ensure the continued delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
According to what was reported by Takala's media office, the meeting held on Sunday saw the affirmation of the strength of Libya’s position toward the Palestinian Cause and the right of the Palestinian people to establish their state, stressing at the same time the necessity of exerting all diplomatic efforts to end the aggression.
The meeting saw a discussion on the political developments in Libya and the necessity of reaching a consensus that would contribute to holding elections as soon as possible. It also reviewed ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between Libya and Qatar.
