The Tarhuna Municipal Council has requested to be included in the South Tripoli Reconstruction Fund.
This came during a meeting between the mayor of the municipality and the Minister of Housing and Construction on Monday, according to the ministry’s statement on its Facebook page.
The meeting discussed infrastructure problems in the city and ways to solve them, including sewage problems.
The Tarhuna city is considered one of the cities that was damaged by the clashes that followed Haftar’s aggression against Tripoli in 2019.
