The Tunisian Ministry of Interior has announced the return of the civil protection rescue team from Derna, after completing its mission in aid and relief operations and supporting the Libyan people.
The Ministry said in a statement on Friday that the Tunisian rescue team recovered 113 bodies from under the rubble during the period from September 13 to 20, in addition to rescuing one person and treating 580 cases.
Two days after the disaster of Storm Daniel, which struck the city of Derna on September 10, Tunisia sent search and rescue teams to support relief efforts in the city, along with local, Arab and international teams.
