Turkish Airlines has announced the launch of a direct line from Istanbul to Benghazi starting from January 14th.
According to Bilal Ekshi, CEO of the Turkish national air carrier, the company's new destination will be 3 flights per week on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Last March, Turkish Airlines launched its first flights to Mitiga International Airport after a hiatus of about 10 years, following the signing of two memoranda of understanding between the Civil Aviation Authority and Turkish Airlines.
