The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transportation for Air Transport Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Khalid Sweisi, received from Kanan Yilmaz, the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, a copy of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) regarding the return of Turkish Airlines' flights to Libyan airports.

Sweisi received the Turkish ambassador in his office at the Ministry of Transportation in Tripoli on Wednesday in the presence of the Head of the Airports Authority, Mohammed Beitelmal, the Deputy Head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Abdulrahman bin Youssef, the Director of the Security Office of the Civil Aviation Authority, Mossa Al-Idrissi, and the Director of the International Cooperation Office of the Ministry.

"The Turkish ambassador delivered a copy of the MoU regarding the return of Turkish Airlines to Libyan airports to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transportation for Air Transport Affairs for review and review, so that the parties can sign it as soon as possible." He said.

On February 19, the Minister of Transportation Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, agreed with the Turkish ambassador to accelerate the necessary procedures from the two countries in preparation for the return of Turkish Airlines and the resumption of its flights to Libyan airports.

These measures include preparing a memorandum of understanding between the Civil Aviation Authority and the Turkish Aviation Authority and accelerating the implementation of its provisions as soon as possible in preparation for the return of Turkish Airlines to operate its flights to Libyan airports.
