The UN Support Mission in Libya has confirmed it had nothing to do with a document circulated on social media supposed to be “the legal committee’s proposal for the constitutional basis for elections.”

The UNSMIL issued a notice Tuesday saying that the document is fraud and aims to obstruct the political process, accusing those behind the act of attempting to mislead public opinion.

“All documents and data related to the political process run by the UN mission are published on its official website and social media platforms,” the UNSMIL tweeted.
