Chief of General Staff Mohammed Al-Haddad has met with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, on a visit marking the end of his duties.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Head of the UN Mission, Stephanie Koury, and members of the mission, during which Al-Haddad wished Bathily success in his future life.
For his part, the UN envoy praised Al-Haddad’s efforts to resolve differences and defuse tension in order to achieve stability and peace.
