The visiting Italian medical team continues to perform surgeries on spinal deformities and curvatures for a group of muscular dystrophy patients in cooperation with national medical staff within the Misrata Medical Center.
According to the Treatment Services Support and Development Agency, the operations conducted for registered and pre-filtered cases coming from various cities in Libya were all succeeded.
These efforts come within the framework of the Government of National Unity’s plan to support such operations within the project to localize treatment at home.
