The Libyan weightlifting team, Saturday, won six medals during its participation in the African Youth and Junior Championship opened in the Ugandan capital Kampala on Thursday.
Medals won by weightlifter Abdul Hamid Al-Drougui, who was crowned by three gold ones in the 105 kg weight class, while three other bronze medals were scored by weightlifter Elias Al-Anani in the 94 kg weight class.
Weightlifter Ahmad Abu Zareba started the Libyan participation by winning three bronze medals in the 77 kg weight class.
Libya is participating in the competition by four weightlifters. The team is supervised by the national coach Abdul Al-Razzag Misbah.
