Nigeria said 9438 nationals returned from Libyan since the beginning of 2018 as part of the International Organization for Migration’s supervised voluntary return program.

In a statement by Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, she said the Nigerian diplomatic mission in Tripoli stated that there 116 Nigerian migrants in Al-Zawiya migrants’ centers and they will be soon repatriated.

UNSMIL said earlier that there are 679.897 illegal immigrants from 42 different countries are still in Libya.
