The Head of the Presidential Council (PC)/ Supreme Commander of the Army, Mohammed Menfi, convened with the Chief of General Staff, Major General Mohammed Al-Haddad, on Wednesday.
A statement by the PC media office said that Al-Haddad provided Menfi with a detailed briefing on the status of the Ras Jedir border crossing with Tunisia, focusing on security and military aspects.
It's worth noting that the Ras Jedir crossing has remained closed since March 18th following violent incidents, as per a decision by the Ministry of Interior.
