The Minister of Economy and Trade in the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Al-Huwaij, has discussed setting up a mechanism for cooperation between the financing agencies and the National Program for Small and Medium Enterprises to find financing opportunities for a number of micro-enterprises.
This came during his meeting with a number of bank managers concerned with financing and supporting private projects, according to a statement issued, on Tuesday, by the Ministry of Economy.
Al-Huwaij explained that the mechanism falls within the framework of the ministry's work plan for the year 2023, and contributes to providing new job opportunities, addressing unemployment and job overcrowding in the public sector, in addition to its important role in the economic development process.
