The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, has discussed with the Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs in Libya, Georgette Gagnon, the outcome of the international assessment of the damage of Storm Daniel. 

The United Nations Mission to Libya (UNSMIL)explained on its Facebook page that the meeting discussed the development, financial and humanitarian situation in the country, including the results of the rapid assessment of the damages caused by the storm and floods in Libya and the needs prepared by the World Bank, the European Union and the United Nations.

The statement added that the two sides agreed on the importance of fair and transparent distribution of resources and reconstruction to include people affected by the flood crisis, in addition to achieving sustainable and inclusive development throughout Libya in a way that does not exclude anyone.
