The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohammed Takala, discussed with the ambassador of Qatar to Libya, Khalid Al-Dosari, the latest developments in the political situation in Libya, and Qatari efforts to reconcile the political parties within the United Nations process, in addition to reviewing bilateral relations.
Takala met with the Qatari ambassador on Wednesday in Tripoli. The media office of the HCS said that the meeting "discussed developments in the political situation in Libya, and the Qatari efforts to reconcile the political parties within the international framework, especially after the failure of the initiative of the former UN envoy, his resignation, and the appointment of his deputy."
The media office added that Takala's meeting with the Qatari ambassador also touched on discussing cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to develop them to serve joint interests.
